LOS ANGELES, January 17, 2019 – FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Networks, announced today that Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis has reached a broadcast milestone of 300 affiliates. Among the show’s recent affiliate additions are KKSE-AM/FM in Denver, Colo.; WGFX-FM in Nashville, Tenn.; WEEX-AM/WTKZ-AM in Allentown, Pa.; KQQL-X1/KQQL-F3 in Minneapolis, Minn. and WBCN-AM/W234BY in Charlotte, N.C.
Travis, who renewed and extended his relationship with FSR this past summer, joined the 24/7 sports radio network in 2016 to lead its weekday morning lineup in the 6 to 9 a.m. ET timeslot. Originating from Nashville, Tenn., Outkick The Coverage features Travis’ informed, outspoken, fearless and often funny commentary on the latest sports headlines, as well as interviews and listener interaction. The program has experienced impressive year-over-year audience gains. On flagship station AM 570 L.A. Sports/KLAC in Los Angeles, Outkick The Coverage has more than tripled its ratings among Adults 25-54 and Men 25-54. (Sources: Nielsen Audio, Dec.’18 vs. Dec.’17, PPM, AQH, A25-54 & M25-54).
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the growth of Outkick the Coverage,” said Don Martin, SVP Sports Programming for Premiere Networks, and Scott Shapiro, VP of Sports Programming for Premiere Networks, in a joint statement. “Clay and his team have consistently set new listening records, which promises for continued momentum and a lot more success in the future. We are excited to share many more achievements with our affiliate partners around the country.”
Travis, who recently joined FS1’s first-ever, daily gambling TV show Lock It In as a co-host alongside Rachel Bonnetta, “Cousin Sal” Iacono, and Todd Fuhrman, continues to host his Outkick The Show webcast and podcast – the largest and longest-running daily sports show streamed live on Facebook and Periscope.
