Alpha Media's 102.3 The Rose in Louisville Announces Debut of Delilah

Louisville, Ky. – September 19, 2022 – Alpha Media’s 102.3 The Rose (WXMA-FM) – Louisville’s Lite Favorites - announced today the addition of nationally-syndicated personality Delilah. Effective immediately, the popular host now broadcasts on the station nightly, Monday through Sunday.

The top-rated show features Delilah's distinctive blend of story-telling, sympathetic listening and encouragement - all scored with adult contemporary music. Often referred to as the “Oprah of Radio,” Delilah attracts millions of listeners on more than 150 radio stations nationwide, making her the most listened-to woman on radio in the U.S.  For her work on the program, the Marconi Award winner has been inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Broadcasting Hall of Fame and the National Radio Hall of Fame. “The Louisville area is a special place for me,” said Delilah. “The listeners have always received us well and welcomed us so warmly. And when you love horseback riding as much as I do, just thinking of the beauty of the farms and pastures, and the majesty of Churchill Downs each spring, I’m all the more excited to be connecting again with listeners on 102.3 FM!”

“The Rose is the radio destination in Kentuckiana to escape the stress of the day,” said Timothy Crull, Program Director, 102.3 The Rose. “Delilah is a true calming influence and great solver of dilemmas. It’s the perfect partnership.”
