LOS ANGELES, October 10, 2022 – iHeartMedia, the No. 1 podcast publisher globally according to Podtrac, and FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Sports Network providing 24/7 live programming, announced today the launch of an iHeartPodcast Original, “The Book of Joe.”

In this new podcast, which borrows its name from the highly anticipated, forthcoming book “The Book of Joe,” three-time MLB Manager of the Year Joe Maddon and three-time Sportswriter of the Year Tom Verducci provide exclusive insight, commentary and discussion on the MLB postseason, from the stars to the strategy. Debuting today, October 10, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and airing through the World Series, listeners of the twice weekly podcast will learn and laugh about the real stories behind how postseason games are won and lost.

As manager of the 2016 Cubs team who broke a 108-year championship drought, Maddon knows what it takes to navigate October pressure. Part Phil Jackson, part Yogi Berra, Maddon brings unique and entertaining takes on not just dugout strategy, but also life lessons and leadership. A five-time Emmy winner with Fox Sports and MLB Network, Verducci has behind-the-scenes access to the players and managers throughout the postseason.

“We are here to tell you what we think, not what we’ve heard,” shared Maddon. “No regurgitation and original thoughts are valued.”

“Like its namesake book, the podcast will be full of surprises and insight,” said Verducci. “From game strategy to baseball history to leadership lessons - and maybe to some rock n’ roll and classic cars - we’ll cover more ground than a Gold Glove shortstop on the most illuminating and interesting podcast in baseball.”

“The Book of Joe” is distributed by iHeartPodcasts. Visit iHeart.com/apps to download iHeartRadio and listen on your favorite device.
