Johnjay & Rich Named to PHOENIX Magazine's 2026 Best of the Valley Hall of Fame Class

LOS ANGELES, July 7, 2026 – PHOENIX magazine has released its 2026 Best of the Valley issue, recognizing the people, businesses, and media outlets selected by the magazine's editors as the best in the Phoenix area.
After being named as the magazine's Best Morning Radio DJ/Team 11 times (2011-2016 and 2022-2026), The Johnjay & Rich Show hosts Johnjay Van Es and Rich Berra have been inducted into the publication's special Hall of Fame.
The Premiere Networks-syndicated duo, who broadcast from iHeartMedia's 104.7 KISS FM in Phoenix, reflected on the show's enduring success:
"We have honest conversations. Sometimes we're funny or vulnerable or ridiculous," Van Es told the magazine. "We don't try to sound like a radio show. We're just like friends on the microphone." Berra added, "We still love doing the show," after more than 25 years of entertaining audiences.
