Toby Keith Invites Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots to Open D.C. Concert on August 8

LOS ANGELES, July 17, 2015 – Country music star Toby Keith called in to The Bobby Bones Show yesterday, July 16, to officially invite Bobby Bones and his comedy band The Raging Idiots to open for his upcoming “Good Times & Pick Up Lines Tour presented by Ford F-Series 2015” stop in Washington, D.C.  Recently signed to Black River Entertainment, The Raging Idiots will join Chris Janson as part of Keith’s opening lineup at Jiffy Lube Live on August 8.

Keith shared on-air: “We’re just gonna have you come in and open up the ole D.C. show.  We’re always looking for new, crazy stuff like that.”

Bones, who thought the original invitation by Keith’s team was a joke, accepted the offer saying: “…we would not say no, ever in a million years, so thank you. I thought it was a joke…That’s just crazy, so yes, our answer is yes!”

In addition, concert attendees will have the chance to purchase limited-edition Toby Keith and The Raging Idiots T-Shirts at the show, with all proceeds benefitting The USO. Since Keith’s first USO tour in 2002, the award-winning singer and songwriter has performed over 200 shows for military audiences and lifted the spirits of over 250,000 men and women in uniform and their families.  For more information, please visit http://www.tobykeith.com/ or http://www.uso.org/.

About Toby Keith
From his first No. 1 smash "Should've Been A Cowboy" to his latest single "35 mph Town," Toby Keith has been one of the most consistent self-directed hit makers of his era. From one of his previous collections, Clancy's Tavern, the lead single, "Made In America," topped the charts as one of the fastest rising songs in a long line of chart burners from Keith's pen. The second hit, "Red Solo Cup," has become the most remarkable and commercially successful country single in recent memory with a viral video with more than 30 million views while having topped the top downloaded country songs charts. The first single from his upcoming album, "Drunk Americans," debuted at No. 1 Most Added on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts; while his current single, "35 mph Town," was just released. Whether it's helping sick children and their families in his native Oklahoma through the Toby Keith Foundation and their cost-free home, the OK Kids Korral, or supporting US Troops including 11 USO Tours throughout the world, Keith has never lost touch with the most important things in life.
