Steve Harvey Helps Inaugural Beloved Benefit Raise More than $5 Million for Atlanta's Westside

LOS ANGELES, March 22, 2019 – Steve Harvey, entertainer, philanthropist and host of the number one syndicated morning radio show in America - The Steve Harvey Morning Show, joined fellow entertainers, celebrities and business leaders in Atlanta at the inaugural Beloved Benefit. Held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last night, March 21, Harvey hosted a gathering of more than 2,000 people celebrating community service and empowerment with special appearances by Dr. Martin Luther King’s daughter Rev. Bernice King and granddaughter Yolanda Renee King, Congressman John Lewis, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and others, with performances by Grammy Award-winning music artist Bruno Mars and multi BRIT award-winning British singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé. The event raised more than $5 million dollars for several non-profit organizations benefitting Atlanta’s historic Westside neighborhood to combat poverty, hunger and homelessness.
